Our Weelsby students enjoyed a wonderful afternoon getting creative and connecting with nature by building their very own terrariums.
Accompanied by Helen, our Horticulture Lecturer, and staff, the students visited Jen’s Den – a sanctuary for neurodivergent wellbeing that embraces a “back to nature” approach, providing a calm, welcoming and peaceful space to relax and learn.
Everyone loved getting hands-on, creating beautiful terrarium jars to take home and enjoy.
Lincoln shared: “I found it calming and soothing planting up the terrarium.”
Zack said: “I did make a garden in a jar – I love it!”
Spencer was so proud of his creation that he couldn’t wait to show it to the Learning Mentors. His smile said it all, and it was clear he had an amazing time.
A huge thank you to Jen and the team for making the afternoon so special, and to our dedicated staff for supporting our incredible students every step of the way.
