Friends of Weelsby Hall volunteers and Linkage students have worked in partnership with Hammond House Production Company to create Untold Stories — a compelling collection of oral histories produced for Linkage Community Trust as part of the Weelsby Hall restoration project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The project uncovers the rich and often hidden heritage of Weelsby Hall in Grimsby, bringing its stories to life through the voices of those connected to it.
A series of ten interviews celebrate Linkage’s history at Weelsby Hall over the past 44 years and delve further into the building’s past with insights of its previous uses and tales of the Sleight family, for whom it was built.
We hope Untold Stories will inspire greater public engagement with Weelsby Hall, both now and in the future.
This project was generously funded by The Humber Museums Partnership.
