Weelsby Journalists of the Week!
Jay and Bradley are our Weelsby Journalists of the Week and would like to showcase the grand opening of the bowling green in Mablethorpe.
Bradley and Jay went along to support the setup and opening of the new bowling green and wanted everyone to know what a fantastic day it was. They enjoyed seeing the community come together to celebrate the occasion and were excited to report on such a successful event.
Jay said, “We all helped to get everything set up and deliver the buffet, which was made at Weelsby by the hospitality team.”
Bradley said, “It was nice to join other students from different Linkage campuses and be part of celebrating the opening of a community project. We also got to spend time with the Linkage Trust members, and it was good to see everyone coming together. Students and staff, alongside community members, were very impressed with the hard work that went into making this project come together. I found that the work and effort put into this, will make the local people happy and creates a friendly, welcoming and enjoy space to spend time at. I wish I had brought some bowls”
