Paul Stevens Achieves Prestigious CIOB Building Conservation Registration
Linkage Community Trust is delighted to announce that Paul Stevens, Head of Estates and Maintenance, has been officially recognised as CIOB Registered in Building Conservation (Estates/Facilities Manager – Working in Management) by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
The specialist accreditation is awarded through the CIOB Building Conservation Competency Certification Scheme and recognises professionals with expertise in the management and conservation of historic and traditional buildings.
Paul’s achievement is particularly significant as, at the beginning of 2026, there were only 20 people nationally on the CIOB Registered list for Building Conservation.
The registration is valid for five years and reflects Paul’s commitment to maintaining high professional standards through continued learning and development in conservation practice.
Paul Stevens said:
“I’m very pleased to receive this recognition from CIOB. Conservation plays an important role in protecting historic buildings and ensuring they remain sustainable and functional for future generations. It’s an achievement I’m proud of and one that reflects the importance of maintaining high standards within estates and facilities management.”
Emma Wardell added:
“This is a fantastic achievement for Paul and a great example of the expertise and professionalism within Linkage. The fact that so few people nationally hold this registration highlights how significant this recognition is.”
Funding for Paul’s training was provided by the Create North East Lincolnshire Development Fund, as part of the project ‘An inclusive and sustainable future for Weelsby Hall’ which is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
