This year’s Heritage Open Day theme was “Everyday People”, celebrating the stories and experiences of ordinary people who have helped shape our local heritage.
The Friends of Weelsby Hall volunteers brought history to life by showcasing a fascinating collection of oral history stories, “Sleights People, Past & Present”.
The exhibition proved incredibly popular, welcoming more than 600 visitors over the two-day event! 👏
A huge thank you to all the Friends of Weelsby Hall volunteers for sharing these stories and helping to preserve and celebrate our local heritage.
The event was supported by leading family history website Findmypast.co.uk.
