Three of the people we support at Oak Lodge in Mablethorpe – Tania, Sarah, and Martin – all celebrated their May birthdays together with a fun-filled circus-themed party weekend!
The house was transformed with colourful circus decorations, and each birthday star chose their own special birthday T-shirt and vibrant headwear to mark the occasion. Even the staff joined in with the colourful celebrations!
Friends from Beech Lodge and Livingstone Court also came along to celebrate, enjoying delicious food, lots of dancing, laughter, and plenty of fun throughout the weekend.
Lizz, a Support Worker at Linkage, said:
“They had a wonderful time – they all danced non stop and it was great to see them having so much fun and laughing together! They all gave me a hug and thanked myself and Paul at the end of the night for organising the party, and for the lovely weekend. This kind of activity makes what we do all worthwhile – our job is about enriching the lives of the people we support, not only by facilitating their independence and life skills, but making sure they have fun, spreading joy and happiness all around.”
A fantastic time was had by all, with many special memories made together.
