Conservation and repair works are now well underway at Weelsby Hall in Grimsby.
The scaffolding has been erected, allowing chimney and stonework activities to begin. Roof slates have been removed, with around 70% recovered for reuse.
Internally, all the sash windows have been freed and are being repaired, and the first floor partition walls have been removed to open up the Hall’s historic layout.
Works are being carried out by Hull-based construction company, Houlton, who were founded just a decade before Weelsby Hall was built.
