Oak lodge celebrated the end of summer this year in style! The people we support decided to choose a Cinco de Mayo theme for their party, the house was decorated beautifully by everyone and the multitude of colours all around… it looked amazing!
Everyone chose to wear their own special t-shirt for the occasion – the men wore sombreros and donned a cheeky moustache, while the ladies choose a lovely Mexican flower head band.
The party was a great success, made even more special with friends from Beech Lodge and Livingston Court in attendance. All of the guests were greeted at the door and given a Mexican lei to wear. All of the staff joined in the fun and dressed for the occasion!
There was a delicious buffet in the dining room, with a wide choice of foods catered for all. Everyone tucked in! In the garden area, a pinata hung from a tree – all the people we support had a good old whack at it. Cherry managed to burst it!
The party was filled with novelty keyrings, fidget spinners and bracelets. The laughter from everyone was magical to hear, there was a disco with flashing lights and energetic music. Everyone danced their socks off and had a terrific time – a fantastic get-together for all the people we support in Mablethorpe to round off a fabulous summer.
