It’s been another fantastic week at Keal View, with plenty of activities, time outdoors, creativity and lots of fun with friends.
Exploring the community
Dan enjoyed a trip to Stickney Ark after requesting to go and see the animals. He followed his map around the park, choosing which animals he wanted to see. Dan said he had a great day and really enjoyed following his map!
Steven and Alex enjoyed a trip to Skegness, where they had fun playing games at the fair and exploring the arcades. Alex said the 2p machines were “like Tipping Point”, while Steven loved the arcades and playing the car racing game. The day was finished with a relaxing walk along the beach.
Baking with Kate
Kate has been busy baking biscuits to share with her friends during afternoon tea. She followed the recipe really well and enjoyed choosing her own cutter shapes to create her biscuits.
Making the most of the sunshine
Steven requested a walk to visit the horses, one of his favourite animals. He loves visiting them as often as he can and really enjoyed his trip.
Over the weekend, everyone made the most of the lovely weather by getting outside in the garden. There was tennis, basketball and plenty of friendly competition! Steven and Dan enjoyed a bit of rivalry before being challenged to a penalty shoot-out, while Alex, Kate and Rebecca joined in with ball games.
There were lots of laughs along the way, with Kate saying she enjoyed spending time outside with her friends. Dan was very pleased to announce that he won the basketball, while Steven said it was a lovely day spent with his friends in the garden.
Time to relax
There has also been plenty of downtime. Kate enjoyed colouring, Rebecca worked on her diamond art, Alex played games on his iPad and Dan relaxed with a movie.
