Project SEARCH team enjoyed the SEND awards!

Celebrating Success at the SEND Awards!

The Project SEARCH team enjoyed an incredibly joyful evening at the SEND awards, reflecting on a fantastic year and celebrating their upcoming graduation.

Here are the Linkage highlights from an emotional and inspiring night:

  • Student Triumphs: Kaycee, Keenan, and Kieran proudly took to the stage to receive their trophies and certificates for completing the DFN Project SEARCH programme, celebrating how much they have grown and thrived since September.
  • An Inspiring Speech: Tomos moved the room to tears with a heartfelt speech, thanking the Project SEARCH team for helping him secure paid employment and changing his future.
  • Special Recognition: Rachel Rushmer from the NHS library support team won a well-deserved award. Alongside her NHS role, she is a dedicated Scout Leader who helps young people with social and emotional challenges feel safe and inspired.
  • Community Partners: The SEND Friendly Business Award went to Julie and the team at the Grimsby SCOPE charity shop. Their inclusive work placements have helped Linkage College students build vital skills and confidence.

The night was a true testament to how Linkage and its partners work together to transform young lives and shape positive futures!
