The interns at DPoW Hospital with Project SEARCH had a very busy Mental Health Awareness Week!
Throughout the week, they took part in worksheets and activities focused on learning strategies to help manage anxiety, stress, and difficult situations effectively.
They were also joined by guest speakers Shaun and Leanne from Compass Go, who spoke to them about managing emotions, understanding the ‘circle of control’, and developing positive strategies for handling reactions and challenging situations.
It was a really positive and proactive week, and r everyone felt that they learned valuable tools and techniques to help them confidently tackle tricky situations and support their mental wellbeing.
