Jay has had a fantastic first week on his Supported Internship at Morrisons Grimsby!
Jay will spend two days a week gaining valuable workplace experience, alongside a day at college developing his core English and maths skills.
Welcomed into the chilled department team, Jay has already learned to rotate stock and is loving wearing his uniform! His favourite task so far is “carding”, which involves removing excess cardboard from shelves and making sure stock is neat and tidy.
With support from his Job Coach, Sandie, and Business Mentor, Byron, Jay will continue learning new tasks and building the skills and confidence he needs to carry them out independently. He’s made a fantastic start, and we can’t wait to see how he progresses!
